Hello ! We're getting super excited over here at Pomelo & Pomelo. Why ? Because Blue Print is fast approaching and we can't wait to see what this new show will bring !
We thought it would be fun to share some tidbits about the chief creative mind behind our vibrant patterns and illustrations, Abby Zweifel. First and foremost Abby is a maker ! She loves to sew, crochet, knit and screen print her own fabrics, she gets quite the thrill from seeing her inked designs on textiles. She enjoys the process of figuring out the nuances of a new project and it really shows in all her designs.
Abby has also been creating a variety of art for products for the better
part of a decade, both as an in house artist and freelancer her work
includes designs for homewares, stationery, gift, apparel and textiles.
Her experience with the technical side of production means that all our
prints easily fit into any workflow without us having to compromise on
creativity.
Much of Abby’s inspiration comes from the subtropical plants and animals
of her native florida, despite the heat however, holiday art is created
year round! We’re always cranking out new prints and collections for
licensing or purchase.
Just look for the toucan and the pomelos! We can't wait to see you! If
